For a little while now you have had the opportunity to read the latest news about the PGE ARENA on Twitter. Another communication channel enables us now to report on the sporting (and not only these) events even faster. Although the PGE ARENA had not had any official account on Twitter till a few days ago, the stadium itself has been present there for a very long time. Nearly every day people tweet and post using #PGEArena hashtag.
Since the very first tweet posted in January, 2013, Twitter users have sent in total 1763 tweets with #PGEArena hashtag to the world. There were for sure more different hashtags referring to the PGE ARENA. The highest activity of people writing about #PGEArena was noted during the match Lechia Gdansk vs Legia Warsaw in April last year. At the same time there was another record broken – there were the greatest amount of supporters ever gathered at the stadium. It was a kind of arranged action that was also promoted with hashtags #WszyscyNaLechie and #RekordFrekwencji. Other moments when Twitter users were most interested in PGE ARENA were e.g. the match Poland vs Greece that took place a few weeks ago or the week between 14th and 21st August, 2014 when Justin Timberlake’s fans generated 333 tweets informing about the concert of their idol at the amber-hued stadium.
