The LOTOS Junior Cup tournament for 12-year olds summarizes the all year’s work under the “White-and-Green Future with LOTOS” project. Amateur teams, including those representing local communities, competed for several months. This year’s finals, with the participation of 15 teams, will be held at PGE ARENA Gdańsk for the first time. The stadium will be divided into three pitches for the young footballers to play on the last Sunday of June.
“Any beginner may feel as Leo Messi at PGE ARENA. I hope that the unique emotions they are going to experience when playing in the real stadium will encourage the young players to develop their sport skills,” says Tomasz Kowalski, CEO at Arena Gdańsk Operator.–So, there will be a real football feast on Sunday here, with everything what is best about this discipline: fair play, pure, spontaneous commitment and joy of the game.
The opening ceremony is scheduled at 11:00 a.m. Everyone: not only families and friends, but all football fans are welcome to support the young players and make them feel as real champions. A very convenient setting will be provided to those willing to watch the tournament participants’ efforts: the Gdańsk stadium business zone (the entrance next to the Lechia Museum). The admittance is free. Additional attractions will be awaiting the youngest spectators: the popular inflattables, football goals, a trampoline and electric children cars will be provided at the PGE ARENA promenade.
