PGE ARENA is known for its commitment to activities supporting people in need. All you need to do is run five kilometres around PGE ARENA. The admission charge is PLN 25.
- “A charity run seems to be the best way for promoting an active, healthy lifestyle and an attitude of openness to other people’s needs, the stadium being a natural venue for such activities,” says Tomasz Kowalski, CEO at Arena Gdańsk Operator. Public interest and social goals have always been important to us. Furthermore, we are happy to support the local residents’ mass sports initiatives. This brings the best emotions to PGE ARENA. People who are physically active are often among those most willing to join positive actions for the benefit of other people.
Each year, PGE ARENA joins the Grand Orchestra of Christmas Charity, the bottle caps collecting for the hospice, or the “Workbook for a Student” action. Moreover, charity matches and balls for disabled children are organized on a regular basis.
This time, the “Five for Hania” run will be held on Sunday, June 28th. The total distance of 5 km is made up of two loops around the stadium. The runners will start at 10:00 a.m. In addition, a 200 m run for children has been planned. The warm-up exercise will be led by Aleksandra Kobielak, the Fitness World Champion.
