First premiere at PGE ARENA

Two days before the official premiere at the PGE ARENA Gdańsk the film "Mundial. Gra o wszystko" was seen.  This picture demonstrating a multi-dimensional victory of the Poles was jointly seen yesterday at the stadium by politicians, lessees of the boxes at the stadium and representatives of the former football world.

Ceremonial screening was inter alia attended by such guests as: Jan Kozłowski, former Marshal of the Pomorskie Province, and currently a Member of the European Parliament; Ryszard Świlski, Vice-Marshal of the Pomorskie Province; a former player and coach of Lechia, and also a selector of the representation of Poland Wojciech Łazarek and a player of the representation of Poland which warmed up Polish supporters during the World Cup'82, Janusz Kupcewicz. Also, football players of Lechia Gdańsk Christopher Oulembo and Bartosz Kaniecki came to see how Polish players played during the World Cup 1982. After the screening has ended there was a time to discuss those days as well as the Polish football.

 - The film won approval of all invited guests – says Zbigniew Zalewski, a curator of the Museum of Lechia Gdańsk – It was also jointly seen by, e.g. former goalkeepers of Lechia, Stanisław Uścinowicz and Tomasz Krystek, in the public there also was Roman Józefowicz, a former attacker of Lechia. Also, Mr. Roman Korynta must be present in such a circle who came to the screening together with his son Tomasz, as a matter of fact also a football player. The end was very surprising when it turned out that the director placed in the film fragments of our match Lechia - Juventus from September 1983. All the nicer event it was for us.

 - To see how the public being composed of people associated with football from those years reacts to our film was a great experience for us – says Przemysław Rydzewski, a distributor representative of "Against Gravity" – The film will be released in Gdańsk on Friday 23 May. We believe that it will receive an equally warm reception.

One will be able to see the film in Multikino Gdańsk and the cinema Neptun/Helikon. It will also be seen by 35 people who won free tickets for showings from PGE ARENA, taking part in the Facebook competitions.
