City by night? Inline skating? Why not? Start from PGE ARENA.

NIGHTSKATING 16.04.2015

Even 2,500 people may take part in a night inline skating ride through the streets of Gdańsk Thursday this week. The 17 km course will start and end next to PGE ARENA Gdańsk, which is the partner of NightSkating Trójmiasto 2015.
The event is intended to promote inline skating as a sport for everyone. Namely this is why each inline skating enthusiast may turn up at the start line next to PGE ARENA Gdańsk.
- “There are plenty opportunities to practice active leisure at the stadium and in its surroundings every day, while inline skating is particularly important to us,” says Wojciech Dąbrowski from Arena Gdańsk Operator. “We have a professional inline skating track at PGE ARENA, with a time measuring system. We organize inline skating workshops on a regular basis. We support all health-oriented activities, therefore PGE ARENA simply could not be left out of an inline skating run across Gdańsk!” he adds.
The Thursday night meeting will start at the P5 parking lot next to the stadium (from the Marynarki Polskiej street side), at 07:00 p.m. Then, the city run course will lead via Słowackiego Route and next via Czarny Dwór, Obrońców Wybrzeża, Chłopska, Kołobrzeska, Jana Bażyńskiego, Wita Stwosza, Wojska Polskiego, Grunwaldzka, Karola Szymanowskiego, Bernarda Chrzanowskiego, Partyzantów, Jaśkowa Dolina, Grunwaldzka, Aleja Zwycięstwa, Generała Józefa Hallera, Kliniczna and Marynarki Polskiej streets.
A stop is planned at the Hala Olivia parking lot at about 08:20 p.m. The participants are expected to return to PGE ARENA at 10:00 p.m. The whole course is over 17 km long and will be secured by the Police and the NightSkating Team. The event, organized by the ZawszeSpoko inline skating school and specialist equipment shop – is expected to attract some 2,000 – 2,500 participants. Participation is open to everyone and free of charge. All you need is a pair of inline skates.
